Life through the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit in the believers life.

Through Jesus we have access to the Father by one Spirit. We have God and Jesus’ love in us. God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit. God poured out the Holy Spirit on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior. Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.

The Holy Spirit circumcises our hearts.

The Holy Spirit will teach us and remind us of Jesus’ words. We have the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us.

We have been chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through the sanctifying work of the Spirit, for obedience to Jesus Christ and sprinkling by his blood. God saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit. We are washed, sanctified, and justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. We are saved through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth. We become an offering acceptable to God, sanctified by the Holy Spirit. We are being transformed into Jesus’ likeness. We show that we are a letter from Christ, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, on tablets of human hearts.

We are God’s temple and God’s Spirit lives in us, whom we have received from God. We are not our own. The Spirit sets us free from the law of sin and death. If you live by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body. Live by the Spirit, and we will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. The Spirit desires what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what your flesh desires. We are to attain our goal not by human effort, such as circumcision and blood sacrifices, but by the Spirit washing, renewing, and sanctifying us.   We are to be filled with the Spirit. We are to be under control of the Spirit. We are not to be under the control of alcohol.

Joy is given by the Holy Spirit. We have righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. May the God of hope fill us with all joy and peace as we trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. We will have the fruit of the Spirit, which is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. The Holy Spirit encourages us.

For those who are led by the Spirit of God, we are the children of God. Because we are God’s children, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, Father.” We are all baptized by one Spirit into one body. We are light in the Lord. We are to live as children of light. Our fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth. We are to find out what pleases the Lord. We are to have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. We are to be very careful, then, how we live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore we are not to be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.

We live in the realm of the Spirit. We live by the Spirit. We have fellowship with the Spirit. The Spirit helps us in our weakness. The Spirit himself intercedes for us when all we can do is groan. The Spirit intercedes for us in accordance with God’s will.

We will be peace makers. We pray to God for others. We are to pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints. Build ourselves up in our most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit.

We eagerly await through the Spirit the righteousness for which we hope. God has given us the Spirit as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come. We are to guard the good deposit that was entrusted to us—guard it with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in us. The one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. We groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in us, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to our mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in us.
